According to Mr Folias, the lack of fluidity in the market influences mainly the trade, the small to medium-sized entrepreneurship, the low incomes. this is why measures have already been promoted which aim at helping small enterprises via interest-free and guaranteed capital movement loans from the Credit Guarantee Fund of Small and Very Small Enterprises. At the same time, within the new year, the Ministry of Development is going to announce more actions for the support of entrepreneurship which reach the amount of 1,3 billions of Euros.
Moreover, the government is going to support radically the branch of textile. In order to confront the internal problems of the branch, which have been intensified because of the crisis, the Ministry of Development announced within the first quarter of 2009 a special program of 50 millions of Euros, which will help the branch of clothing, footware and skin.
As far as the “green entrepreneurship”, Mr Folias declared that the Ministry of Development promotes actions which create the suitable climate for the attraction of private and public investments in the sector of Renewable energy Sources and the saving of energy. At the same time, it creates a constant environment for new investments based on the exploitation of geothermics for the rural production but also for domestic use.
