According to the Eurostat, the trade deficit in Greece reduced by 1,8 billion euros during the period from January to August 2008. The greek exports raised to 11,2 billion euros while the imports reduced to 35,3 billion euros.
    In Cyprus, the trade deficit raised by 700 million euros. The Cyprian exports raised to 700 million euros while the imports raised to 4,8 billion euros.
    As far as the European Union is concerned, the exports to China raised to 52,3 billion euros and the imports from China raised to 154,2 billion euros, the exports from Russia raised to 69,0 billion euros and the imports from Russia raised to 120,7 billion euros, the exports to the USA reduced to 165,8 billion euros and the imports from the USA raised to 123,3 billion euros, the exports to Turkey raised to 38 billion euros and the imports from Turkey raised to 31,5 billion euros.
